How to take care of your timepiece.

1.  Cleaning your watch if it's water resistant: There is no alternative excuse for cleaning your belongings. The direct contact of the watch to your skin can form an accumulation that might trigger bacterias from dead cells of your skin making the watch look dull or less shiny. Which is why:

  • Step 1: Remove the strap from the watch and make sure the crown is not pulled out.
  • Step 2: Get a toothbrush with soft bristle
  • Step 3: Gently rub the edges and the surface of the watch
  • Step 4: Rinse off with water and use a lint-free cloth to damp the water

2.  Wearing your watch regularly: This might seem counterintuitive but wearing your watch regularly keeps your watch in a better condition than storing it. If your watch is stored for a long period of time, the lubricants inside your watch can ultimately dry off and harden. Since the lubricants have hardened, the pushers and crown may get damaged if you try to use them after a period of time.
